When Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal hangs up his crown and calls it a career, he'll undoubtedly start a second one as an MMA analyst or color commentator.
Few competitors in the sport have his fight IQ (just ask him), and few fans immerse themselves in the sport like he does.
So when Lawal breaks down his matchup at Saturday's "Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine" event, his prediction carries more weight than most fighters'. And that doesn't bode well for opponent Lorenz Larkin.
Lawal (8-1 MMA, 3-1 SF) and Larkin (12-0 MMA, 3-0 SF) compete on Saturday's main card, which airs on Showtime from The Pearl at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas following prelims on Showtime Extreme.
For former Strikeforce champ Lawal, it's his first fight since a September knockout of Roger Gracie that got him back in the win column following a title loss. And though Larkin is an undefeated prospect who's quickly rose through the Strikeforce ranks with a string of flashy performances, Lawal believes he hasn't faced a challenge like him
